SHC StoryMaps
StoryMaps are digital immersive, location-based narratives that offer broader access to Canada’s heritage, supports inclusive learning, and fosters deeper engagement with our shared histories from anywhere in the country—or the world.
StoryMaps are a collection of “site points” that, when combined, tell an overarching story. Each site point can include a wide variety of content (e.g. text, images, videos, audio, etc.) that allow for a deeper microhistorical exploration of the people, places, and events that come together to make a moment defining.
Shared Histories Canada is proud to partner with Esri Canada in the use of ArcGIS technology for our StoryMaps.
